Ahhh, that explains it.

Still, it's not the worst outcome. Knowing CCP they could just scrap the WoD assets wholesale and happily go on developing a new Google Glass-exclusive DOTA clone or something.

Stunning stuff, the Sci Fi is starting to feel more like the old eve character creator. I'm loving the new stuff.

It also proves that sooner or later well have more avatar content, just got to be patient.

I may get hate for this, but I don't think more variety in player customization is a bad thing at all.
They could hire one or two people to work on that and things related to it without really taking any resources from elsewhere.

Yeah, FiS is obviously top priority, but I have to admit that bringing back the racial clothing options from the old character creator is right up there for me.

I completely agree James.

It looks like CCP is finally getting to the point where they feel confident enough to start moving forward with their plans to sell accessories for your characters and ships.

They seem to have put quite a bit of thought into how to better approach the whole thing without setting off a revolt as well, which is highly encouraging. Presenting it more as an integral part of the game experience instead of a somewhat grating break from the traditional EVE experience is a wise decision... as is putting an emphasis on the ship skins instead of the Avatar clothing being the "main" focus.

All in all, pretty slick... and if I may say so, long overdue.
