Atlanta Area Gathering - May 29th

Who:
Anyone that wants to come along, whether you play EVE, DUST or want to be a future Legion or Valkyrie player. I have GMs Luthor, Cydonia, and Ood, along with CCP Loktofeit coming along. Others from the Atlanta office may swing by as well.

What:
More than anything, this is a gathering of people with a common interest sitting back and talking about something they enjoy while they have a few drinks.
It has been a while and we wanted to put together another player gathering in the Atlanta area. We have a few goodies lying around the office that we figured y'all might want as well: Collector's Editions, Art of EVE books, etc.

When:
Thursday, May 29th from 7pm - 10pm
Why a Thursday? We know many people prefer to go out on the weekends, but sometimes people find it easier to get out on a weeknight instead so we're trying something a little different. If you can't make it, don't worry. We'll probably do something on a weekend again in the area in the not-too-distant future (Soon™).

Where:
Mac Mcgee's Irish Pub in Decatur, GA
There are a few parking lots not far from the bar (be responsible). It is also convenient to the MARTA so easy going if you want to use public transportation.

Wish I could be there but I trust everyone reading this will be there instead :). If you're withing driving distance (the US, Central and South America is technically all driving distance), you shouldn't miss this one.

Couldn't have told me sooner Pyro? I already took off work on Friday f the 30th or something else so I won't be able to make this gathering. I am looking forward to a weekend shindig soon!

I will be there one way or another but I have a real question here.

Few of my friends have been there but I haven't personally. They are telling me that place is tiny as hell and looked at me like I was crazy when I said CCP booked it for an event.

Have you guys had it there before? how many peeps normally show up to this meeting? and HOW have I not known about it before if you have?! I live like 30 minutes away.

I've been to a couple there, it is kinda small but I seem to recall our gatherings being a dozen or so guys. We took up a couple tables but not the whole place.

Now that you mention it though, with how many GMs/devs (at least Loktofeit, and Manifest says he'll be there too) are coming, it might get crowded. Our first meetup at DragonCon time was probably about as big as we can expect this one to be, and it was in the larger Brick Store pub nearby. Guess we'll see how it goes.

Sounds interesting, I'll try and stop in for a few. I'm not to far out, 40 minutes or so, But our office is in Decatur so i drive out that wa every morning to get the crews out the door.
