Amarr and Minmatar, because they have very good back stories which are easy to get into and role play. Master vs rebellious slave beats corporate robots vs wine and cheese.

Playing the slave card... very transcendent.

But I agree. Vargur. Sexiest ship in the game, hands down. Just dropped Min BS V after finally getting LG Proj V. 27d to my Vargur.

Jovians, of course.

To answer your actual question:

I chose Amarr because I thought it would be funny to take a member of a slaveholding race and then immediately change sides and fight for freedom instead.

From my alts, most of them have not much thought put into them or they are based on in-jokes.

Only for two of them I've bothered to give them a backstory:

-My industry alt, who is a Gallente-scientist.
-My FW alt, who is a Khanid cyberknight.

Khanid. I've always had in interested in Mongols and the Khanid T2 ships with their dark hulls and blue lights looked very attractive (yes I know those are really Amarr ships).
