Are my Ishtar dreams dashed?

Hey all,

I figured I would put this in M&C rather than ships since it isn't so much about fitting but uses.

I just finished training for my Ishtar. One of my goals with the ship is to take it to null. I have read all over how it is a kick butt option for Nullsec plexing etc.

It seems from the threads here that crucible pumped up lots of the nullsec sites. Are they now too hard for a ship like the Ishtar to handle? Or will I still find sites I can take on?

They do have some trouble with some of the harder sites now.

They are still great for exploration! Great to have in null sec groups.

A nice step to take toward Rattlesnake if you going to be a tank/drone pilot.

There is a good chance some of the changes will be adjusted again.

Over all still worth getting the ishtar!

How the can an Ishtar have trouble in a 0.0 plex if it's passive shield tanked? Care to specify?

I've had no trouble solo'ing anything in Serpentis space with one whatsoever.

You can solo 5s in an Ishtar (not all, but some). Anything out in null is still less brutal than most L5s.

Ishtar is totally screwed up since the update. I sent 2 petitions already . Read my " Ishtar since crucible" post

If you run with the base resists (i.e.: do guristas and serpentis only) a single t2 rep active armor sentry ishtar tanks just about any site. Let alone if you use a faction rep.

the problem is getting the damn sites done with just the setup's max ~500 dps before someone comes in and spoils your party.
