Thanks everyone, I appreciate it.

And at this point, other then the good suggestion of trying to return program, I was just hoping someone knew the guy or corp.
CCP really was pretty firm back in the day, and it would make even less sense from their point to force an intervention now.

As for my health, I'm emotionally in a very good place. Second bout was fine, havn't thrown up yet, and at least I have some time to waste gaming and being distracted. I'm just a bit nostalgic is all. My oncologist said she's seen patients that made 10 years in my situation so I've certainly got time.

I got the feeling when I first talked with CCP about the account thing that it was almost unheard of at the time. They seemed to understand account theft, but not transfers as it must have been a relatively new service. I've noticed TONS of changes they have implemented since then and assume my case must have been an early influence of it.

I too think the guy's long gone from eve, which urks me slightly because If he was going to leave the game the lest he could have done was answer. I have plenty of crap in old wow accounts I'd gladly have given in trade to help.

What is it about your first character?

I don't know. I guess the memories have value or something.

I recently made a post in GD forums about my cancer situation and a Corpmate who made a difference to me. So in return I would like to offer my friendship to you. I don't know you, and you don't know me, but I'm pretty sure we have a lot in common. Feel free to message me in-game or here on the forums if you wish.

It is a shame that there are people out there like your former roommates who think its ok to steal from others. This kind of behavior is allowed in the game, and its a crime when it goes this far in RL. It might be too late to do anything about it, but it sure couldn't hurt to try. Try contacting your local law enforcement and explain your situation. You might be surprised by the response, but you won't know until you try.

As other have said I would send a petition to CCP, and see what they are able to do. I tried to send an invite aswell, but I received :

Character Vicullus Cicero is not eligable for the Recall Program

I'm not sure if it because it has already been sent by yourself or someone else.


In the end you have to stay strong and fight !

Also, scientists need to get more standings ... these L1 locators they're running aren't doing the trick.

CCP raised 200,000 dollars in relief funds for the Philippines. Time for the sisters of eve to help one of our own now... If the account was stolen the current owner has no right to it.

You know, I remember getting pissed off at gate camps and rage quitting over stupid losses. I used to think this game catered to jerks and arseholes.

It is nice to have some positivity.
