And it still sucks?

Got any good loadouts for the Cruor, my dudes?

I think the bonuses are rather wack. And I think throwing x2 Hobgoblins onto this boat isn't going to make much of a difference for how bad it is.

I feel bad for Amarr pilots who wanted an epic pirate frigate that shoots lasers. Succubus doesn't count.

This thing is like an Executioner / Sentinel combo with a web range bonus, I'll take bets that this thing fails miserably in practice.

And I don't get how that bonus makes sense when I'm trying to web people from twenty kilometers away.

So I web someone at twenty kilometers. I'm doing about as much damage with my lasers as an interstellar sneeze... and I can siphon capacitor from the enemy ship if I go within 8.6 kilometers (fancy Nos range) of said enemy ship? Like what the **** is this **** I don't even

OH long range web is incredibly useful for catching kiters in a slow ship like the Cruor, giving you a powerful range-control tool. The NOS bonus is a little weak on a frigate but it can still be put to good use, I wouldn't say it's as bad as you guys are making it out to be, it's not crazy good either though.

Blood got the shaft on frigates like snasha got the shaft on Battleships. The nos bonus is aweful for the frig, and the AB bonus is a joke on the battleship. They all got great bonuses and the shaft, it just varied on how.

I don't think it's all that bad (grant it, I haven't theory crafted on it much).

The new nos bonus could potentially run a decent active tank while capping the opponent out at the same time (and I don't know what kind of frigate fights you all have been in, but there's plenty of time for neuts/blood nos to be an extremely powerful tool) -- invest in a nice nos and range isn't an issue, too. The web range is nice for running down ships even if it doesn't mean a lot once you get into range. Its dps looks pretty passable. Doesn't seem like an instant hangar decoration to me.

I've thought about this a few times now. Are you quite sure the afterburner bonus is that bad on a battleship? Why can't it be useful?

It's hidden later in the frig thread in F&I, Cruor will definately be interesting to fly, while not entirely broken like other frigs :)

Did you even bother to check out that nightmare? It is hilarious! Undust your shiny lowsec clone and you got a freaking battleship with XL-SB, cap booster and invuln, dualweb, heavy neut smart bomb etc etc. burning for the better of 1.5km/s at 1k+ dps. Mildly absurd would nail it.
