Angles of Death, anyone?

When I make a new alt I sometimes hang out in Rookie Help, for some reason I really enjoy helping people out.

Yesterday a poor soul lost his bizzarre-fit thrasher in a highsec gatecamp; his corp had been wardecced. I tried to help him out because he wasn't whining about it, just a bit lost on what to do. It's a shame his CEO wasn't willing and/or able to give him some basic survival advice himself, but I digress.

He linked his killmail, and among other stuff it had 4-5 police pursuit comets on it and a Kitsune (I assume to defend against notoriously dangerous week-old players Lol). I checked the wardeccing alliance's killboard, it had no more than 2-3 kills a month per member, all noob ganks in highsec. Mostly pods, I assume guys warping @ 'not-really-zero' on stations, or whatever.

Point is, it occurred to me that it would be fun to gank back these fail highsec pvp-ers in their pretty-skinned navy frigs. I'm not an expert (we don't really use wardecs much in lowsec) but I also remembered about the 'join as ally' option. I thought it would be hilarious to try to get some noobs on the kills too, for bonus tears.

I'm very much enjoying lowsec atm, but my question is: are there corps out there that regularly join noob-corp wars (for free) to collect some funny wannabe-pvper tears? Is it practical? Seems like an easy way to have tons of free targets in highsec, am I correct?

If anyone enjoys doing this, let me know if you're ok with me giving your contact info to any noobs-in-distress I may stumble upon (if they don't whine - I dislike whiners).

Sounds like a good time to me. It's really too bad that that new player you mentioned had to go to rookie help instead of his player corp to get the advice he needed. So many terrible corps in high sec. Lots of people war dec expecting little to no resistance, and just hoping for the odd easy kill. In that case, you shouldn't really have any trouble getting silly and easy kills off of them. Other groups will be a little more cautious and you'll have to set up traps and bait and such. All round though, should be a good time and a good learning experience for any of the new players you can get involved.

Or you know, noobs could just join experienced player corps instead of corps run by other noobs.

I have a monocle therefore my opinion matters more than yours.

X !!

Oh and ... it's angels, not angles. (:
Unless you're geometryphile, of course. :)

That ringing in your ears you're experiencing right now is the last gasping breathe of a dying inner ear as it got thoroughly PULVERISED by the point roaring over your head at supersonic speeds. - Tippia

LMAO for my typo, I think I'll leave it, reminds me of a movie director shooting murder scenes from different angles.
