Hi there,

Today I noticed that the broker fee percentage for buy/sell orders don't seem to take my diplomacy skills into account. The percentage I calculated corresponds exactly with my "native" standings, not raised by my diplomacy skill.

I know that buy/sell order made on behalf of my corp, don't take skill bonuses in account, but the orders I'm talking about are "private" orders, not made on behalf of my corp.

I'm also owner of a corp, a one-man corp with just me in it. Maybe this makes the difference?

Does someone know something more about this?

Broker fees are calculated from base standings, so they are not affected by social skills.

The diplomacy skill description also states that its bonus applies to "hostile Agents", so you shouldn't expect it to apply to things that don't involve agents. The connections skill description isn't so clear, because the term "friendly NPCs" has been used instead of the correct term "friendly Agents", but the same applies.

You know nothing, Jon Snow.

Corp orders use the characters skills and standings that is placing the order to calculate the fees.

One more question concerning corp orders: are broker fees for orders placed on behalf of the corp calculated from the standing of the individual im the corp who is placing them, or are corp standings some kind of average of the standings all corp members?
