This is a game. As a game there needs to be some way to measure progress that can't be impacted directly by other players. In EVE that is SP. So, Hell no.
Everything else can be hit hard by PvP (Including ganking)

That's a good idea. Except it would be better if you could genetically alter their clone. Make them look like a blobfish or something.

CLONE JACKING

you can take over a players clone and you share the same name as them till that clone dies and then you go back to one of your own clones

plus then they could add a paid service to allow players to trade bodies!!!!!


!!!!!!!!!!!this puts a whole new level of espionage in the game!!!!!!!!!!!

Make it a Dust/Legion ( Degion? Lust? ) mission where hacker procures merc to attack and the defender would have merc in standby hired at station. Defenders / Attackers mercs could be comprised of specifically hired merc corps , "random" selects from active merc pool, or combination of both.

Would be interesting.
