Hi!
We are planning a mass test on Singularity on Thursday, May 22nd, at 17:00 UTC (= EVE time).

What exactly is being tested?
  • Various changes for the Kronos release (mostly graphical changes)
  • Warp-in and warp-out effects
  • Further updates for Mac clients
  • Stability of the client and server (stressing this server crash from last time)

How to connect to Singularity for this test:

Test steps:

  • Meet in FD-MLJ at the gate to X-BV98
  • Jump to X-BV98
  • Align to planet 6
  • Warp to POS beacon
  • Shoot the control tower
  • Align to Poitot gate
  • Fleet W: Jump to Poitot and setup gate camp
  • Fleet X: Jump to Poitot + fight at the gate

What else should I know?
  • We will be moving players to the test system - join the channel massmoveme
  • 2M Skill points will be awarded on Singularity for this mass test
  • Bring many different ships. Cynos will be provided

There is an in game mailing list on TQ, but last week I forgot to send info to it. Oops
Please join the mailing list "Mass Testing Info". Normally I send a mail to the list 1 day before the mass test (but yeah, it happens, that I forget).

You'll have a better chance of getting Mac testers if we can actually launch the Singularity client ;)

Yet another mass test that completely screws over anyone who is Not in a Euro Timezone, Basically if you're in the US and have a job you don't get a chance to be involved in mass tests or get additional Skill points to actually test things other then what you already have on the test server.

Another example of mass fail CCP good job still doing a test server wrong after 10 years.

You'd think after 10 years CCP might have found a clue and realized that running the test server with the exact same skillpoint mechanics as the real server makes no sense. Since if you cant already use something CCP is changing or testing you will never know how it will effect you, or be able to help test things. Then again you can only help test things if you have no job or live in a EU time zone.

Awesome test, was a great test for my computer even. Time to do some tweaks and see if I can get it to perform better.

There wasn't even any TiDi until we started shooting each other at the gate camp or when we all jumped through the gate at the same time.

It's pretty common, that we get tidi after "fight!" from CCP Habakuk.

bo-hoo...

Get over it. CCP is european company, it exists in Europe, it uses it's time (how do you think, why EVE Time is exactly the same as GMT?) and they have many enough players to lead masstests on Sisi while having players only from EU (and late russia time). Stop whining, other US/AU players aren't crying about it. If you want more SP on test server, plug in the best implants, and set your skilling queue active instead of posting on eve-o forums.
