The "bias" is only in your head. With 1.75 million SP (or thereabouts), you can have all the relevant skills to fly a frigate at L4 (of course, barring me being dumb and missing something). Or, people just grab frigates (which are cheap) and go shoot someone in the face until they figure the "PVP thing" out. As with nearly everything, this is made easier when you get some friends.

OP, the real beauty of EVE is not in the 1s and 0s stored on Tranqulity that constitute a "pilot", but the player who is flying the ship. There are certain hard realities, such as you probably won't be able to assassinate The Mittani on the second day you play EVE but you have no good reason for not putting up a good fight wherever you go.

A good fight just means you tried your best, keep your mind open to learning from your mistakes, and pick yourself up from your losses to go at it again.

Joffy Aulx-Gao for CSM. Fix links and OGB. Ban stabs from plexes. Fulfill karmic justice.

English is my second language and only been writing it for 3 years so i'm sorry for the bad grammar. I am not here to frustrate anyone. If i cant post an idea without someone trying to show how smart they are by posting negative comments then maybe this game has a bigger flaw.

I was merely trying to give and idea on how to make EVE better.

Nothing should be untradeable. If these universal ships you are talking about are equal in all stats and skills, wont combat then just be about firering the first shot first? Horrible idea/wall of text in wrong forum...

Grammar is not a problem, problem is making my eyes bleed due to lack of ANY formatting.

Also, I cannot take seriously ideas of somebody using not even 2 months old character to post them.
Whatever those ideas supposed to solve or help with I won't listen because either you lack of balls to post with your main or you have no idea about the game hence your solutions are worthless.

Anyway, you don't pvp, do you? But you play EVE, right? Well... #1 Never ever fly what you cannot afford to lose.
No one loses everything by losing their ship unless they are reckless players and maybe better off playing the My Little Pony Online MMO.

There is nothing inherently wrong with EVE as that other thread seems to think which you referenced, PvP and PvE are just fine. And we already discussed this in that thread, so why again? Wear us down on the subject? But just the same, PvE is already easy enough and does not need to be any easier, not more of an ISK faucet as it already is.

EVE is quite popular already, enough to be about the only MMO to consistently increase in paying subs the length of it's run, thus far (yes PLEX counts since someone pays). Doesn't need to be f2p, p2w, newbified nor simplified. Dumbed down games are for dumbed down players and often wanting free gaming to bounce from game to game in most cases. In fact in many cases, those "popular" games smudge their player statistics to make them look more popular than they are. You are buying into the sales pitch.

Lastly, notice how other people post, with nice short paragraph formats, easy to read and understand point by point.

No need to keep harping on the "wall of text" issue. In fact the OP had that edited even before I first read the thread and had nice readable paragraphs.

As for the idea presented (you've removed it by now, so I'm trying to give my opinion on what I remember):

Giving players "unified" ships, where everything is equal, and also making skills irrelevant by giving everyone the same bonuses, is not something I'd like, not even in parts of the game.

Seeing the decisions you've made about planning your skills pay off, and your decisions how to fit your ship, and where to fly and which fight to pick etc.. these are all essential to Eve as I understand it.
Some of these decisions are made for me when flying in a fleet with my corp, such as fitting, and which fights to take on (and even here I could try to come up with new fits which work well and convince my corpmates it's worth making fleets with them). It's nevertheless much more satisfying for me to be part of a group of people making the best of a wide freedom of choice than using "unified ships and skills".
And that's me being a newbie, thus allegedly among the people profiting from the suggested change

Why not even for part of the game?
Because that's another point I think is important in Eve: The consistent, one Universe. No cop-outs, you got to live with what you got and come up with ways to do what you want under these constraints. That's the challenge and the fun, imo.
