They have been broken since their conception.

They are still gamebreaking.

There is a massive consensus on this, yet nothing has been done about it.

I am sick and tired of being killed by Maledictions that fly 8km/s and point you out past 40km, and the following 10 HACs that land on me.

The excuse of the inability to program off grid boosters to only function on grid is laughable.

Light missiles literally can't even catch these ships; it's the most senseless thing in this game.

Fix your broken mechanics, they are a priority.

Show me where the Exodus interceptors touched you Oops

But trolling aside, links do need to be nerfed down further. The commandship boost could use an overall 10% drop and the T3 boost could use an overall 15% drop in their effectiveness. It would make the "no boost vs boost" problem managable

Debatable.

A more accurate comment would be: "There is a consensus amongst people without a booster alt".

You should probably watch local/d-scan a bit more carefully when you are carebearing.

Links are pretty much the only thing in the game that are a potential counter to the other side bringing more people. The death of links will be the death of the small gang.

On grid links will only hurt small gang pvp.

If that stuff would be on grid, we'd need solutions other than just BC and up being able to carry those. So once they change that, T1 command destroyers will hopefully pop out as a byproduct Pirate

Since that will also happen post-T3-rebalance, let's hope for devs to recall VoC's linkchain with their tengusetups back then and unbork it for daily use...

I don't carebear.

Maybe you should know what you are talking about before making senseless comments.

Links are not the only counter to the other side bringing more people. I beat gangs of 3-6 solo, as do other solo pvper's. We also beat fleets of 15 with only 10, which of course doesn't always happen. It is (SHOULD BE) about having the proper fit, and using the proper tactics in the fight, NOT paying $15 a month for an IWIN button and a character sitting on top of a station or in a POS.

The death of links will be the birth of new solo and small gang pvp. However CCP seems to prefer the extra $15 subscription for winning fights; and why wouldn't they, they are a business after all.

Yet another loss today to a Comet that goes faster dual webbed than my hookbill single webbed. Yeah, un-winnable situations sure do promote solo and small gang pvp.

Your alliance is big enough, surely atleast one person can bring a link alt. not broken, and definitely no consensus. It's just the most whined about mechanic by players who refuse to train their own alts.

Also, the problem with interceptors is interceptors themselves. Point range bonus, sig radius bonus, super fast (even without links), and now are nullified and are the fastest warping ships in the game. Only 2 of these things are really effected by links, as the point range goes out to the lock range most of the time anyways.
