Try setting the Corporation Standing to +10 - make sure you are not setting your personal standings towards that player or corp +10. It needs to be your corp.

Also I haven't figured out how the standings work so I only have my tower use "Standings" rather than "security Status" or both. If I have both turned on, no one knows one way or the other if one over rides it.

So if I have it set to attack anyone less than a 5.0 Security standing, but the player has a +10 standing with me, will the tower shoot?

you have to set your CORPORATE standings toward the OTHER CORPORATION to say +2 (or whatever the threshold you've set on the POS).

standings from you to other people, or your corporation to individual pilots will not work for this. Furthermore, if the person is in an NPC corp, you cannot set standings to the NPC corp (well, you can ... but they don't mean anything).

edit

@ Sassmus -- yes, your personal standings to another pilot are irrelevant. it's only the corporate standings between your corporation and the other pilot's corporation that matter.

One of the bitter points of a good bittervet is the realisation that all those SP don't really do much, and that the newbie is having much more fun with what little he has. - Tippia
