Has anyone discovered a way to set an inventory filter that will filter out everything except the items given to you by an agent for distribution missions? It seems to me this would be very helpful to ensure you don't grab the wrong item before undocking.

Can't be that hard to tell which item is required if you've read the mission brief properly.

If your inventory is that messy, have you thought about storing all your items in cans? That way you'll instantly see new items that have been given to you.

Sometimes you hit the bar and sometimes the bar hits you...

The filter is called reading the mission description properly, which you can access at any time via the journal.

In the beginning there was nothing, which exploded.

Use station containers to seperate your stuff fromthe stuff agents give you.

That works too, I usually have nothing in my item hangar apart from labelled cans, which are analogous to folders in an OS.

Maybe a silly point, but uh, won't the "search" box do?
i.e Distribution agent gave you "Item X", type "Item X" in the search filter?

Well then at least they'll learn to remember it the next time! :D

It's pretty hard to do that now, when you attempt to undock you get warned that the stuff you're meant to be delivering isn't in your cargohold.

I suspect creating a custom filter that shows all items worth 1 ISK or less should pretty much display just mission items, gate keys etc.

If that does not work set the filter to everything above 1 isk, select all, turn off the filter and invert selection.

I gave this a try, but for some reason it filtered out the mission items as well. I guess the system doesn't interpret an unavailable price as less than 1 ISK. It was good idea though.

oh ...

In that case try making a filter for less than 100 billion then select all, turn off the filter and invert selection, that should leave everything "price unavailable" as selected.
