Baby steps my friend, this is an extremely difficult task.

Does this mean you haven't started to operate yet? If I got there now, what would I find? Will there be someone to team up with? If there is, than which timezones they are belong to?

Hi Ray. Indeed, there are plenty of friendly people who you will be able to group up with to run complexes and rat. Yesterday we ran a sleeper op as we had an abundance of WHs spawning in the surrounding area, and most days people are ratting or running missions. If you join our hub-zero channel you will see we regularly have 30+ people to chat with.

If you want some advice then join the hub-zero channel, or feel free to convo myself, Aaron, or Drac when you see us online. To start off with a battlecruiser and an exploration frigate would be a safe bet, and then you can build up from there. We can also give you some advice on fitting it so you aren't an easy catch for the hostiles. We fly all of our ships under the radar, so whilst this isn't always the most isk efficient way to operate, we can still make very good isk, whilst allowing us to dictate the engagements in which we choose to fight.

As I said before my style of play was to take the fights where I think we can win and avoid those that we cannot, last night I got a bit complacent with people around me keen for a fight so we took one, even though it was crying whelp at me from the off.

We had a kitchen sink fleet and warped in to a fight that was too far to warp to quickly and which resulted in us arriving piecemeal, with predictable results. Normally I want to get a good look at the enemy work out where they are and then devise what I want to do to pick them off, I did none of that, used a bait ship that should have been able to tank longer, but was blown away by the DPS created by the enemy, which was well above what I would have expected from a normal group, and here is the rub, it was against a group that I normally avoid a fight with unless I can blob the hell out of them because they have snakes or top implants and use boosters.

One of our guys used and lost his WH drake, which shows the difference and our gang was not configured to engage their gang effectively.

I will not be complacent like that again, if I do not feel that we can do it I will not go for it, simple as.

When the going gets tough the Gankers get their CSM rep to change mechanics in their favour.

The situation with regard to trolling, harassment, camping and griefing is terrible within Eve Online which can make it difficult to enjoy the game. Over the years iv'e had some nasty things said to me and I have responded to lots of nonsense. I'd advise anyone currently in Hub Zero and anyone planning to come down to try their hardest to ignore the local campers and leave them to their never-ending mission of camping and griefing.

My advice is to place them on block Lol and let them get frustrated with the fact you are not listening. One of the worst and insulting things you can do to someone is completely ignore them. Their goal is to annoy you and make you feel as if you won't earn any isk due to them being in a system 23/7, they will insult/annoy you if you show annoyance at their play style and possibly petition you if you so much as indirectly swear at them or say something such as "you're a ****" or "He's a ****". This is a very stupid play style that I will never entertain.

Things are going very well in the Hub, we have a great team of guys and it is a pleasure to be here with them. We are earning lots and working together very well. Our play style is difficult to grief due to loopholes found in the griefers tactics. There is lots of trade going on down here and we seemed to have made our own virtual market that nobody can corrupt.

Hub Zero has come a long way and we have hundreds of people involved. There is so much to do here and there's nice people who are more than happy to show you how to do it. I love it here, I can call this place home and I will fight tooth and nail for it.

I love fleet commanding and engaging in fights that could go either way. I love the thrill of the fight and it is good when both sides have well organised fleets.

Now that we are all cool with each other in the hub I feel it is time to get ourselves organised with pvp. We have a cool set of guys that are friendly and have no problem listening to suggestions this is a great recipe for good pvp. I plan to design some amazing fleet comps using cheap ships that are deadly and effective, once we're comfortable with this I plan to step it up a bit and get some expensive fleets organised.

I feel we have to take a cautious approach with any pvp that we do from this point forward, we may need to go over each pvp scenario we find ourselves in with a fine tooth comb before engaging and ensure that we don't risk too much before we get some fleet doctrines organised.

Let's give this a massive push, get signed up on our forum and let's get this going, for Hub Zero.

Just wanted to offer props to you guys for what you're doing out there. This stuff is the very essence of sandbox gameplay imo, and I hope it continues to be successful for you.

Dracvlad, I especially enjoy your battle reports. Very entertaining and insightful. Cool

Anyhow, thanks for the content.

Meaning what exactly?
Not crying at all. But what is the difference between moving to npc null alone, and moving there for hub zero?

Edit: Right now I'm in null, exploring. Why go to hub zero?

Try getting a clue. Hubzero is a scam :D

I've... seen things you people wouldn't believe...  Attack ships on fire off the shoulder of Orion. I watched c-beams glitter in the dark near the Tannhäuser Gate. All those... moments... will be lost in time, like  tears... in... rain. Time... to die...

So thats what you meant in the other thread there. Sorry bud, I'm not an alt, nor am I shilling for Hub-Zero.

Mostly I just like the style of posting in this thread. Classy. Refreshingly unlike the vile nonsense that spews from the Cheetoh stained fingers of cheap ass NPC trolls like yourself. Cool

Hub Zero a scam?

Well, the "blue market" has some pretty good prices and I was able to get some equipment at a pretty good price. Sure it's not like shopping at Jita 4-4, but if I wanted to shop in Jita (The song "Downtown" now goes through my head and won't leave) I would go to Jita.

It's nullsec. What more do you want? And there's something for everybody. I don't get to play enough, but when I do, I'm having a good time out there.
