I know the art department likes to have control over the creative vision for eve, but the game already has plenty of tongue in cheek logos. There's nothing offensive about this logo, it calls back to a previous alliance logo, and it's already better known in the eve community than 90% of the actual approved logos.

Come on CCP, approve the logo.

We really appreciate all the support, thanks guys!

I was feeling really positive about CCP with this patch, however the way they have been treating this situation seems like a throwback to incarna-style CCP. Now I don't know if this is just a leftover relic of that style of thought wedged in the art department, or if it is indicitive of a the more company-wide apathy that cause the problems for CCP in the first place.

I obviously hope this style of thinking is just an isolated thing and that CCP can fully move on from the incarna era of being apathetic to players and allow us our logo in-game. The arguments are here, they are solid, and they aren't going away.

WE NEED OUR ALLIANCE LOGO HYDRA PROVAIL!

Despite a terribly pretentious post from Duncan justifying the reasoning behind the logo, and the fact that the logo is, by most aesthetic standards, horrible, I nevertheless have to agree that it should be approved.
It is EVE related, referring to a previous logo, and it is not offensive. And as many others have pointed out, as bad as it is, this logo is no worse than many other alliance logos that are already in-game.

Approve this terrible logo.

I think ccp should troll hydra reloaded by updating thier logo to the old one and painting it in gold.

Amount of fail in this logo is = to linked examples no reason for blocking it in game.

TEST had our first alliance logo rejected. Why? Because it was as ****** as yours is.

The issue isn't that there's favouritism, the issue is CCP doesn't want to let ****** logos into their game.

Wow I can see why test went with executive Trex after rejection.

You know I am almost inspired to go back and put real suggeling effort into the logo and make it red and silver.

I will have to agree, not the best logo but quite humorous in the explanation behind it. Let it in CCP.

What the hell does "not EVE related" even mean? There's pages of logos that have nothing to do with EVE that have been accepted, and pages more of logos with pictures of ships, planets, stations, etc from EVE that have been rejected for being "not EVE related".

What the hell, CCP, be consistent.

Don't really know you guys, we stay out of alliance affairs.

However, nothing pisses me off more then illogical conclusions from corporations such as this.

Just give them their damn logo CCP.

It doesn't matter what it looks like, as long as its not offensive or raciest (like many currently existing logos....) let them have it.

& since when are people forced to roll play with their alliance logos? If i want an alliance logo that features ak-47s, sports cars & beer. I should be within my rights as a paying customer. Pretty sure the tiny 24x24 box or however big it is logo is not going to ruin immersion for the majority of players... & if it does? **** em.... Thats been your strat for the last few years anyways right CCP?
