OMG i am KOS Sad
why do they hate me?

Click on your name on that page. They do not have you personally set KOS. It's your corp and alliance that are KOS, and that is probably because of the close to 2000 kills against CVA you guys have on file.

Hello everyone, I looked in my communications here to see if I had made and inquiry about going into Providence. Alas I couldn't find it, so for anyone who is in Providence let me know if there's an npc station there from hisec??

reason being just to go and get there in one piece and to experience being there. I heard so much about it and like to visit. Thanks:)

If you need any help settling in, send me an eve-mail.

I'm a Provicitizen and would be happy to assist with your visit. :D

Thank you ma'am. I will certainly do that today at some point. I heard there is so much history there in times past when I would read about the going ons there and it certainly would make my day to see where a lot of history in Eve unfolded, I'll be in touch.

You might want to be extra carefull though, Providence has been seeing alot of deployments by other Null sec entities lately, so everyone might be extra on edge and more trigger happy than usual.

Just a friendly heads up, hope your experience of Provi turns out to be a pleasant one.

BoBwins Law: As a discussion/war between two large nullsec entities grows longer, the probability of one comparing the other to BoB aproaches near certainty.

Providence can be a nice place to visit, red, neutral or blue to the locals. Things you can do there:

a) Experience nullsec without signing up to be part of a large power bloc or one of their renters.
b) Be regarded suspiciously by the long-suffering locals.
c) Go on a PVP holiday.

I'm not even in the system, what does that mean for me as far as visiting?

CODE is just a bunch of pirates; smart, organized pirates. It doesn't help to rage at them because that is exactly what they want. Dust yourself off and get back on your feet, you don't even have to talk to them.

Unfortunately when I was in ROFL, we visited Providence on a few occasions and caused the alliance to be KOS to them, so you may not be welcome there.

As a further update, I could NOT wait or resist the temptations soooooooooo...bought a shuttle, set my course and away I went to what will be a glorious time I'm sure in the region. I left from hi sec on a trip that took less than twenty (20) minutes using the shorter route and believe me, for me to jump into HED-GP where history was made recently, I didn't know that I would be entering another era so to speak.

I have to tell ya, that to go thru a system that had a large battle there was like being on a pilgramage of course and yet in the excitement of my trip I just couldn't believe I was actually doing this and yet I made it safe and sound and look forward to exploring over the next few days.Big smileBig smileBig smileBig smileBig smile

If you are not in the system then it means you, your corp and your alliance have not had dealings in Providence yet and thus you are not KOS by default, you are safe to travel through the region. Blink

It looks like the OP planned his trip to Providence just as PL, Waffles, Nulli and a few others decided to plan a trip to providence aswell.

Apparently I too am KOS to providence, I don't know why because I have never been there before and my only dealings with any Providence member was due to a RL friend of mine who has now left the game.

And to add to the cheek of it, the Provi lot did not even have the gall to mail me about being placed on this heinous list.

Time, I think to take a trip to providence and earn my Kill On Sight that I have been so graciously provided with...

Quoted from Doc Fury: "Concerned citizens: Doc seldom plays EVE on the weekends during spring and summer, so you will always be on your own for a couple days a week. Doc spends that time collecting kittens for the on-going sacrifices, engaging in reckless outdoor activities, and speaking in the 3rd person."

Oh no, the little princess did not receive the official cease and desist letter? And they probably also forgot to send you the free battleship to make sure that there are no sore feelings? You really should fly to Provi and complain. It is your right!

Seriously, think for a second. Several pilots out of an alliance behave stupid, the alliance is set KOS. You really think that every alliance member is notified about his change of status? Or let us assume just one pilot behaves like an %&$@! You think he gets the red carpet treatment and is informed about his new status?

You are given all the trust you can ask for. You can rat, mine and even dock at outposts of an other alliance. All you have to do is behave like a good neighbor. If that is too much too ask then I cannot help you.

On the internet, you can be whatever you want to be. It is amazing that so many people chose to be stupid.
