Unfortunatly, due to the exponential training times, you'd be looking at 1 year long skills in training for some cases. Or 2-3 months training skills.

I'd actually not mind, but it'd be unrealistic for any character to have more than one or two 6th level skills.

So... you could have weird things like... fitting a cloaking device on a cov ops ship adds CPU to your ship... and sending reps with a logi boosts your capacitor?

ummm no, there are many skills where level 6 would be absolutely broken.

I'm stupidly bored training lvl 5 skills, sp why not lvl 6. however. the bonus is the question.
If it is in line with EVE, it would be 0.5 % and that ends up pointless.

You are aware that they have six levels right now, right?

Levels 0, 1, 2, 3, 4 and 5. Count them, that's six in total.

As for why what you meant here is a bad idea: Run some numbers on what a Phased Muon Sensor Dampener I (script: targetting range) could do on a Celestis with Gallente Cruiser 6 and Signal Suppression 6. Then once you have done that, run some numbers on the capacitor situation of a Logistics 6 Oneiros.

If you train three sixth level skills, then your sec status drops to -666.0 and everything is KoS to you. Everything. Even the asteroids will shoot at you.

Pon Farr Memorial: once every 7 years, all the carebears in high-sec must PvP or they will be temp-banned.

I'd be on board with this personally. I look forward to training engineering V and electronics V for those special snowflake fits. But it's not a good thing to make SP more significant in PvP, I think it's a good aspect of the game that at the moment only a minority of SP are used for any given fit which allows newer players to compete more effectively.
