Hello, I helped today a friend to connect on Singularity using a Steam account. If maybe some of you were in the same case, I post here what you will have to do :

1. We will switch between 2 Eve Online folder. What you have to do is to search the folder called "Eve Online" in Steam\SteamApps\common\.
2. Then, you have to copy the folder Eve Online to get a duplicate we'll call Eve Online Tranquility.
3. Once copied, open Steam.
4. Right click on "Eve Online" in your list of game then "Properties".
5. In tab "General" select the button about starting options.
6. Here, write "/server:Singularity".
7. Start the game. It will starts patching your folder for Singularity and you'll be able to connect.

========

The "installation" is finished.

From now, you will have 2 possibilities in the future

A. Your installation is configured to connect to Singularity and you want to connect to Tranquility Server.
B. Your installation is configured to connect to Tranquility and you want to connect to Singularity Server.

=======

Case A : Your installation is configured to connect to Singularity and you want to connect to Tranquility Server

1. You have to go is to search the folder called "Eve Online" in Steam\SteamApps\common\.
2. Then, you have to rename the folder Eve Online to Eve Online Singularity.
3. Then, you have to rename the folder Eve Online Tranquility to Eve Online.
4. Open Steam.
4. Right click on "Eve Online" in your list of game then "Properties".
5. In tab "General" select the button about starting options.
6. Empty this prompt windows.
7. When you will start the game, it will directly starts the launcher for Tranquility.

=======

Case B : Your installation is configured to connect to Tranquility and you want to connect to Singularity Server

1. You have to go is to search the folder called "Eve Online" in Steam\SteamApps\common\.
2. Then, you have to rename the folder Eve Online to Eve Online Tranquility.
3. Then, you have to rename the folder Eve Online Singularity to Eve Online.
4. Open Steam.
4. Right click on "Eve Online" in your list of game then "Properties".
5. In tab "General" select the button about starting options.
6. Here, write "/server:Singularity".
7. When you will start the game, it will directly starts the launcher for Singularity.

=======

It might exist an easier solution, but this is the only one I found for Steam user

You can set launch options for steam client as for normal eve client:

- Make a shortcut to Steam.exe (mine is in C:/Games/Steam/Steam.exe
- Open properties and add -applaunch 8500 /server:Singularity (the app number taken from eve link made by steam)
- Save and use corresponding link after folder rename

Example of working shortcut -
Quote:

C:\Games\Steam\Steam.exe -applaunch 8500 /server:Singularity

Also I tested two steam clients (one of them active) with two separate installs of EVE, not working, always downloading patches, I think EVE Client checksum somehow tied to Steam.
