Is risk vs rewards for interceptors broken?

They're ridiculously hard to catch - as they should be. But they're also among the cheapest T2 hulls in Eve. Interdiction nullification is still this ancient mystery technology appropriated from Sleepers, and it still requires a compromise to fit one to your T3 cruiser, but interceptors were given nullification without having to compromise effectiveness and without increasing the build material cost of the ship.

I don't think the effectiveness of interceptors needs to be changed, but does their material cost reflect their power?

Fine as they are. To fit them for insta warp requires compromises that gimp other parts of the ship. If hey don't fit for under <2s align time then they can be caught.

I wasn't suggesting that the effectiveness of interceptors should be tweaked. They're fine how they are. I was just suggesting that interdiction nullification should be a bit more expensive. Just the subsystem for T3 cruisers costs more than an interceptor. It seems off to me.

Place a fee smatrbomb 2550 of gate as they land, u will see alot of dead ceptors, also sebo cormorants, or remote ecm tend to cattch them often. It woudl be nice too see a graph of dead ceptors per week thorugh time.

their ISK/EHP is fairly in line with other T2. I could see a slight cost increase but tbh the market can handle that; if they are overpopular costs will rise. If anything id say bring the EAF build costs down.

I like them, and I hate them. They are overall balanced. My only problem with them is that they make for very boring gameplay when they roll around in large groups.

You mean nullified interceptors throw other areas of the game out of balance besides killing afk goons?

I hated ceptors until I finally decided to train up to fly them. Now I love my Malediction Big smile

As long as we don't start seeing interdition nullification appearing on any other ships, except maybe blockade runners.

Inties lost a good bit of EHP when they gained nulli.
