Cyno loves Bastion mode

Hi!

Out of curiousity I equipped a marauder with cyno along with the bastion module. I don't know if it is intended to be like this but you can open a cyno which is not a big deal but your bastion module will keep running, also you can turn it on and off. It also works if you open a cyno first than you can activate your bastion module. So in theory you can have a bait cyno with slave set and armor bonus that has around 550K EHP with over 80% resists (passive) :)

So the question is if this is okay to do so or could count as an exploit since cyno should deactivate and prevent any module from running. And it works like this currently on TQ also.

Since when does a Cyno deactivate other modules?

Hmm than I'm really wrong. For some reason I remember that when you open a cyno you can't really do anything. Well it seems like you can, my bad :)

Cyno does not stop other mods/prevent mods from working. The only thing it makes you do is sit still. So if you want to put a cyno ship in an expensive marauder that has to sit there for ten minutes, then that is your choice.

This doesn't seem like an exploit, Im sure though that eventually they may nerf it so that if you have both activated your bastion module loses some defensive ability putting it less effective than without the cyno dropped but more effective than not having it on.

I don't know why. Perfectly valid for any ship to be able to use it's other modules to defend itself while stuck for 10min.
