The only worry would be the cluttering of abandoned ships/drones, so if CCP could clear thouse without downtime then that would be a massive, and welcome change

Afaik they don't get removed. Always so many drones out there to find in deep space...

See, you have a problem here.

The "not being able to kick when undocked" doesn't have to do with corp/alliance systems, it has to do with the in-space standings change. The system currently can't change who you're allowed to fight or not based on wardecs and such while you're in space. Because things would get crazy.

But you can accept an invitation to a corp while in space. And have standings change.
This however is a bug as the GM's put it.
But yes it can be done but doing it to gain an advantage is an exploit and the ban hammer may fall!

I am just here to snuggle and do spy stuff.

Hm. This could mean that asteroid belts don't respawn on a daily basis. Or the mechanic could change to be similar to the migration of exploration sites.

Which could encourage people to migrate out of hisec, considering also the rate that the value of minerals would also dramatically increase.

Realize, that currently there are alot of mechanics & quirks that rely on downtime
While any of those still exist, so will downtime. But then, I believe CCP have stated in the past they want to alter all these mechanics and quirks to not require downtime

What you are saying is that I could get into GoonWaffel, undock in something cloaky and then keep my client open indefinitely?
This would mean that I could not be kicked but it would also mean all that power redundancy would come in handy if somebody decided to cut my power.

Why are you so upset?
I also benefit from no downtime.

You actually can't accept an invitation to a corp while in space, and standings are nothing other than a colored box.

“Die trying” is the proudest human thing.
