Hello, i havent found answer in help channel and in char bazaar sub-forum...

i need to transfer 1-2 characters from 1 account to another (im the owner of the 2 accounts)... i need to put them in NPC corp or this rule is only if i sell them for isks to unkown people on the forum? Same question if a corpmate and my RL friend want to give me one of his character and close his account.

Need to follow the same rules like if my 2 accounts are of a separate person?

Thanks in advance and sorry if i posted it in the wrong section.

Moana... with love :)

yep, you have to follow the same rules...

One of the bitter points of a good bittervet is the realisation that all those SP don't really do much, and that the newbie is having much more fun with what little he has. - Tippia

I'd say "stick to the rules" ... but I don't really think it matters one way or the other.

AIUI it is impossible to transfer a character that is nopt in an NPC corp.
You do not need to post to the character bazaar.
You probably don`t need to do anything special with your assets.
You probably do not need to notify your corm members of the transfer.

You should file a petition to get official responses to these questions.

you have to be in a NPC corp to initiate a transfer
if you own them - then you don't have to announce anything to anyone
if your corpmate want to xfer a character to you - you don't need to do anything just get him to start the transfer - but you could send an evemail saying what your doing between chracters
you get to keep all the stuff
if in doubt create a petition

This!

The character needs to be in an NPC corp in order to initiate the transfer. Don't forget that you cannot leave a player corp if you have had any roles in the past 24 hours.

The character will keep any assets, so you do not need to transfer them seperately. That includes any LP and RP. You only need to transfer the assets if you don't want the character to keep them, which is typically the case when a character is sold on the forms.

In receiving a character from a friend, my suggestion would be to CYA. Make sure that there is some evidence that the character transfer is legit and that you cannot be accused of stealing the character. If you need help with ensuring that this will not be an issue, then file a petition so that you get an authoritative answer from CCP.
