I was working in the lab when my monkey, Bubbles, rampaged in and knocked over an Erlenmeyer flask full of hydroiodic acid in aqueous solution, which splashed onto my corneas. Long story short, I can't see my way to avoid the broken glass or chase that monkey. If someone could come up with a creative solution to restore my eyes' functionality, I would be blinded! (figuratively, not so much literally)

I bet those eyelids would protect you from sustained bombardment by small silicate crystals.

Speaking of being ahead, today one of my corpmates went several jumps through nullsec and lowsec in a capsule and he got shot right next to the station, within docking range. I had to think about it for a sec, but then I said "well, 99.99999999999999% of the way is basically 100%, right?"

After I did some research, I realized it's probably more like 99.999999999999999% of the way. But I was pretty close.

After some careful calculations with a graphing calculator, I have come to the conclusion that the best estimate for his trip distance is, in fact, 99.99999999999967%, give or take 0.00000000000025%. I was way off.
