Yup - the market already adjusted to the fresh supply. I'm afraid speculators may not be able to cash in on scarcity right away, since they're relatively durable.

Let me stick that in the calculator for you.

Compared to the Wasp II (since it's Caldari), the Gecko has 4 times the structure, 2.34 times the armor and 2 times the shield.
In addition, it has almost twice the maximum velocity and 1/3 more orbit velocity.

I'm a fan, and using it for all my PvE needs despite the price.

They can track frigates a lot better than heavy drones can.

Yes, I use them against spider drones also. Love 'em. My comparison above was just responding to the durability question.

I let the geckos feed and have room for three salvage drones to get started on their job before it's all cleared.

They struggle with spider drones and elite frigates but eventually get a hit on them, whereas heavies have no hope. As spiders orbit in your face I still tend to call the Gecko in and deploy lights if I have them.

Shame they are going to drop 25% in summer with the interfacing change, we need T2 versions to get our DPS back :D

I want to try these babies out when the Rattlesnake balance hits Tranquility. Also, make sure you redeem your Geckos ASAP, you only had 21 days from the day they are made available to redeem them.

Only problem is they are getting a 25% hit to damage come Kronos due to drone interfacing change.

With all said and done, I got something around 200mil from CCP. Not shabby.

Oh and I guess all those drone boats get a fancy new toy.
