Aeon Lottery

A friend of mine recently quit the game and gifted me his Aeon. I can't use it, so I'm offering it up for lottery, along with a couple of plex as bonus prizes.

Basic Lottery Information
There are 2800 tickets, each costing 10M each. The lottery will run until all the tickets have been purchased. There is no limit to the number of tickets each person can buy.


Main Prize
Aeon with full combat and travel fits (worth about 25B) plus fuel, or a 24B ISK buyout.

Runner-up Prizes
There will be four runners-up, picked after the main winner. The first two will receive a PLEX, the second two will receive 300M cash.

Each winner can only receive one prize.

Ticket Purchases
Buying tickets is simple: each ticket costs 10M ISK and you can buy as many as you want. Simply send ISK to Toribas Haal for the number of tickets you want to buy. Include “Aeon Lottery” as the reason for sending the ISK. For example, if you want to buy 12 tickets, send Toribas Haal 120 million isk with the reason “Aeon Lottery.” You don’t have to send me an Evemail at the same time, though if you want me to verify your ticket purchases you’re free to get in touch with me.

Winner Selection
Chribba’s Dice will be used to select and publically verify the winners. The dice will be unlocked once all tickets are purchased.

The first winner gets the Aeon, the next two get PLEX, the next two get 300M cash. There are twenty rolls available in the event of duplicate winners, since each winner can only receive one prize.

Security/verification
This lottery is Chribba-secured. Chribba’s Dice are used to select the winners, and the ticket list will be published openly once the tickets are purchased and the dice are unlocked. The entire process is completely secure against fraud.

Just to clarify - you say 'one prize per person' - does that mean if the same person gets prizes #1 and #2, you will randomly repick another winner for prize #2?

So far the only thing he has said that was true was

"No, there is no rules about no scamming on the forums, read the forum rules, no where does it mention that they punish scams."

and for the most part he is correct, you can scam on the forums just not in the buddy invites section.



Save your cash, and don't bother....

It is in no way secured by me. Simply because you chose to use my Dice to draw the random numbers doesn't make it secured by me.

There's nothing stopping you from altering whatever ticket numbers before you publish the list to get your alts there seeing as you said yourself that you won't reveal the list of numbers until the Dice is unlocked.

But bottom line, this thing is NOT secured by me.
