Trying to do exploration but I can't tell what the items are that spew out of the containers until I click on them, forcing me to loot stuff I didn't really want while missing things that I do.

Loot spew is gone in a few weeks, so compared to what else tooltips screw up, this is at best a minor issue...

I managed to adapt really quickly,
but this will be a huge timewaster for all the new people
who will stop remembering things and instead
keep looking at tooltips.

Too bad.

And CCP thinks this helps keeping new players.

It is being removed on June 3rd afaik.

Could someone post an official confirmation that this is the case? I didn't think it was confirmed..

If clicking on endless nodes from the hacking minigames won't give you RSI, then don't worry because the loot spew mechanic that follow surely will.

This might sound radical but is there an issue with Loot all > jettison crap? Or is it down to the fact you will be too exposed doing that?
