Hey all

i have a quick question, so am hoping you can help me out.
Dont know if this post is in the right place, but lets try.

what does 5% & Wavg & Median mean in Eve central

5% is the average price per unit if you buy the lowest 5% of sell orders (or sell to the highest 5% of buy orders).

It's a handy one, if you're trying to get a feel for the actual price, in a large market. It's not so good for small markets. And the Buy version can be manipulated down easily. Useful for Sell prices.

Wavg I'm not entirely sure about, but I suspect it's a weighted average of some sort. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Weighted_arithmetic_mean

Median: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Median
split the orders in half (sorted by price). The value you split on is the median.

am buying all ore from my corp so want to buy everything 7% below average, but was unsure what those numbers were :)
