New tooltips make loot spew EXTREMELY difficult!

Is this an intended mechanic?

As you know, when running a relic or data site you NEED your tooltips to see what type of can you are tractoring. The new tooltips are VERY laggy.

Today's patch was VERY bad for us relic and data site runners!

I guess I could get used to it, but not having laggy tooltips helps me A LOT.

I am arguing the presence of the new tooltip change, not the presence of loot spew.

Note that the dev post was from Feb, said maybe summer, and unless I've missed something I haven't heard it mentioned in any of the info released for the June patch. So removing it "soon" doesn't help us now.

the delay is intentional... otherwise things would be flashing up every second lol

I did one site, one. Good it was data, so only parts containers. Are you serious CCP? This is killing to exploration.

How did this happen?

All good impressions after fanfest perished.

Do we have to wait 6 weeks for repairing release?

No point of exploring now. I can't even imagine how stupid would be getting cans from relics.

Yep, because we need some obvious text in stupid delayed frame. Sandbox game without option how to display things.

Still no info what is with scattering containers. They will be removed? They stay? Throw us a bone.

Not only is it slightly laggy, the tooltips box for the last container you clicked on covers up other containers so you can't mouse over them and see what they are.

LOL, just did a Data Site, this is so bad. I like the feature where the tooltips just stop so then you have no clue what the canisters are at all. Even if loot spew is going away, it needs to be removed from spew cans for the time being.

Seriously, did they even test this? What's the point of a test server if you dont test things you plan on adding to the game.

People actually test things on the test server?

Do we have to babysit CCP with everything? I mean what could possibly go wrong? This suppose to be tool that helps us. I know they may have no time to test every aspect of new features, but this is not ship balancing. Switch off is a must.

Other side of test server is CCP approach to feedback. I've heard ppl testing scattering mechanic told CCP that's bad for exploration. Thing still hitted TQ. Why bother?

I've mostly transitioned away from doing profession sites. But any thread that points out a way in which CCP have broken their own game deserves a bump.
