Mass test on Singularity on Thursday, 15th of May, at 17:00 UTC

Hi!
We are planning a mass test on Singularity on Thursday, May 15th, at 17:00 UTC (= EVE time).

What exactly is being tested?
  • Various changes for the Kronos release (mostly graphical changes)
  • Foundation technology updates for Mac clients
  • Stability of the client


How to connect to Singularity for this test:

Test steps:

  • Meet in FD-MLJ at the gate to X-BV98
  • Jump to X-BV98
  • Align to planet 6
  • Warp to POS beacon
  • Shoot the control tower
  • Align to Poitot gate
  • Fleet W: Jump to Poitot and setup gate camp
  • Fleet X: Jump to Poitot + fight at the gate


What else should I know?
  • We will be moving players to the test system - join the channel massmoveme
  • 2M Skill points will be awarded on Singularity for this mass test
  • Bring many different ships. Cynos will be provided

Awww yissss!

Do we have any specified ammount of SP to get after this masstest? 2 mil as usual?
Are these test steps accurate (in the system category)?

2M as usual.
Test steps are not final, but we will start for sure in FD-MLJ.

Will you be testing an off switch for the Tool Tips as well?

If Yes that will be the first time I ever log on to SISI.

Maybe if you logged into SISI more often to *test upcoming changes* you could have added your tooltip dissatisfaction to the general discussion of the feature...

The mass test is for all operating systems - but this time we are inviting Mac users specially as we did some changes to the Mac client.

Makes sense. I'd had a few corpmates go "Oh I won't bother, they just want mac people", so now I can go poke them and hopefully they'll come along!

Remember that the skillpoints are awarded on the test server only.

patching the test server keep failing 3x for me. If it does not patch by today i most likely not going to attend the mass test Oops
