Hello everyone, recently myself and my corp mates have been taking part in the growing number of EVE events taking place. From RVB ganked to Spectre fleets to Burn Jita it seems every day there is a new event happening. We were having great fun but we all found it hard to keep track of exactly what was going on and when. We were sitting in about 6 public channels just to keep track of things and thus the idea for eve-events.net was born.

Eve-events is a website with a calendar that allows you to at a glance see exactly what events are happening over the month ahead, it also has a forum for you to post up pictures of videos of old events or organize your own. We really love seeing all these events happening and we would love to see eve-events encourage even more people to create and host events within eve.

If you have an event you would like to advertise then please feel free to contact me in game and i will post the event to the website calendar and create a forum post containing more information.

If you want to keep track of eve-events then please check out the site of feel free to follow @EveEventsNet on twitter.

For the moment we have posted up a few events from some of the more popular channels but i would love to speak to the people who run the channels and people who run events I am sure we have missed to make sure we get all the information up we can.

Thanks a bunch, hopefully as we move forward we should be adding more events including player meets and CCP events. We have now spoken to a bunch of the guys who run regular events and should be getting the info post fanfest hangover.

Remember if you have any events you want to advertise feel free to contact us, we do out best to keep on top of everything but we would love more people to be hosting even more public events.

approached these guys when I read about their initiative.
took them less than 5 minutes to post my event on their calendar and push it on the #tweetfleet.
you guys are awesome!

a big +1 from me. The Event forums are a bit inconvenient to use, having it all in a neat calendar for me to click through, thanks very much :) hopefully in time this site gets enough attention for us newbies not to miss out anything notable that's going on in the Cluster :) goodbye station-spinning boredom :)
