Would be nice if the current notepad accessory were expanded to allow for personal [currently available], plus corporate and alliance options.

A 'blink' option similar to chats, emails, wallets would also be nice to notify of new/changed notes.

This would provide a very convenient 'bulletin board' capability, and much more reliable way to distribute corporate/alliance directives than trying to use in-game email or external web facilities.

While not necessary, a [purge after x days] or [keep no more than x days w/o resetting auto purge] option would be an easy way to keep resources from being tied up indefinitely. If feasible, the option could be spawned when logging character that created/updated the original note on so that massive overhead isn't needed to perform global search and destroy tasks.

PS: It has been pointed out that Corporate panel already has a simple bulletin feature. Agreed, this is not attempting to replace that function. Simply to provide an alternate, more robust communication choice. And, a very easy way to work around the 2,000 word limit :)

Notepad is for storing all of your situational .gifs to post in local.




Why would I want to share those with my corp?

Since the cessation of their usefulness is imminent, may I appropriate your belongings?

while we're on the topic - I'd like the character notes on all characters/corps/alliances to have a corp (split into HR and diplo), alliance, and individual section

For posting an idea into F&I: come up with idea, try and think how people could abuse this, try to fix your idea - loop the process until you can't see how it could be abused, then post to the forums to let us figure out how to abuse it..... If your idea can be abused, it [u]WILL[/u] be.
