4 hours on a crappy connection, to download 1.5 GB and no new content ?

Would it be difficult to get a notice in Test Server Feedback from a Dev about what is going on with the test server?
I don't expect full patch notes or anything so fully detailed, just a simple - There will be a patch available, containing XXXX.

I like to keep it up to date and have been waiting for the changes due for release soon to become available for testing, then to just waste 4 hours updating the client to have nothing obvious added..

Seems someone is playing a very cruel joke.

My opinions are mine.

  If you don't like them or disagree with me that's OK.- - - - - - Just don't bother Hating - I don't care

It really is getting harder and harder to justify $23 a month for each sub.

The current build contains a new version of the nex store, and a number of the new station skins, all the new graphical features will hit singularity later this week.

Like I said.. A cruel practical joke.

If adding ship and station skins, which as a multi boxer who has graphics set to medium or low means nothing, is going to take over 1gb, whats going to happen once these things start hitting TQ
I'll have to unsub a couple of accounts to pay for the extra bandwidth needed to keep up with the 10 times a year releases.

As a suggestion, links to a direct download for sisi patches. Downloading at an av of 34kB sucks, it never seems to have enough seeding to get decent speeds.

Opinion;
Minmatar station in Rannoze looks good,
Caldari in the same system looks no different.
I think you got it backward with the Amarr stations in Fensi. Zoar and Sons Factory looks like it could be a palace, place of importance. While the Emperor Family Bureau, (which the name suggests would be a grand place) Looks like a watermelon that has sat in the sun too long and would better suit Minmatar.
Imperial Shipment, by name would have a huge easily accessible Docking Range, a tower like structure with a tiny undock right at the bottom of it, just doesn't fit with a transport related corp.

Overall, stations look pretty good but Caldari seem to have received the short end of the stick. Some of the designs could better relate the the Corporation who's name they bear.

If the nex store needs that much room with so little to offer to the average player - An ingame link to the eve management site and use redemption system for those who want pretty clothes. You can only Get AUR through account management, why not have the store there too.

There are two seperate feedback threads for this.

Refering to your bandwidth problems: Launcher > Settings > Patches tab, remove check from "Delete patches after use", download patch, export patch, import in other client, done. Problem solved.

Or maby you could unsub all your accounts to pay for a plane ticket out of what ever third world country you live in that has eve capping your bandwidth.

He is probably like me and lives in the UK (as far as I know not a 3rd world country.... yet), and what most people don’t realise because of the default ‘providers’ we have a 3 tier broadband system.

Band one the high speed broadband is found in the major cities and is usually fibre direct to your house giving speeds of 50Meg and above.

Band 2 is seen in the rest of the major towns and sometimes along major trunk routes and is fibre to a cabinet sometimes near your house, can be fast and up to 30Meg.

The rest of us live in the county (rural exchanges and infrastructure) and have copper or aluminium cables from the exchange to our house, speeds can vary from 512K to 20Meg depending on the length of the cables and age. Most of us have speeds below 5meg and depend on weather patterns to have any chance of downloading any large size of files.

So before you shout about getting a plane ticket just remember not everyone lives in a big city with providers falling over them for their custom, but have to take what we can get and lump it.

There's almost always a sticky post explaining what is on Sisi, in this case the post is here https://forums.eveonline.com/default.aspx?g=posts&t=343954&find=unread
