Hello everyone, I looked in my communications here to see if I had made and inquiry about going into Providence. Alas I couldn't find it, so for anyone who is in Providence let me know if there's an npc station there from hisec??

reason being just to go and get there in one piece and to experience being there. I heard so much about it and like to visit. Thanks:)

You can dock in provi block stations as long as you aren't red anyway.

Not an area I spend any time in, but a quick look at Dotlan doesn't show any NPC stations, but Karen's answer is more useful.

Providence will always hold a place in my heart, It was where I learned to PVP, where I had my first fleet fights, and where I learned the delicate art of ship spinning in station.

I was already sorry when i tried to dock at a station to repair the damage to my ship caused by the "friendly" locals shooting at me.
Docking was denied What?.
I expect that sort of insular thinking from CFC/N3 but i had heard that provi was welcoming to outsiders.
Anyone can dock at our station in FDZ and it would be nice if everyone was that welcoming.

For whatever reason, your alliance is set to red--which, unfortunately, means that you are red by association. Someone from your alliance shot someone in Providence at some point, probably.

Whenever I'm contacted by people who would like to visit Providence, I make sure to run them through our KOS Checkers to verify the player, corp, or alliance doesn't have a negative standing.

Or, more specifically, to make sure what happened to you doesn't happen. ;)

If you would ever like to visit -without- being shot, we'd have to clear it up with the CVA diplomats.

My main is listed as not KOS, while none of my other chars are listed at all.

Yet I have never, ever spoken to anyone remotely connected to Provibloc with my main.... Shocked

Well, provis hospitality is especially true for High-Sec, neutral and newer players who want to experience a chunk of null life without being thrown out or killed.

Regarding the large KOS, well, considering a lot of null blocs, alliances and hotdroppers come visit Provi on a daily basis with evil intents, it is no wonder most of them and their associates are set red and are denied docking. In a space where you never know wether a neutral is friendly or not, at least providing basic protection against and detection of reds/hostiles is a must.

Thats what CCP gets for associating with Pirates! Evil

BoBwins Law: As a discussion/war between two large nullsec entities grows longer, the probability of one comparing the other to BoB aproaches near certainty.

Provi is where people go to train how to kill things, VOLT make awesome training targets they are only a slight step above shooting at NPC's from my experience >.<

On an unrelated note do you know any way to remove all the ships you have killed from a particular corp or alliance from your killboard?
