How do you have time for friends while grinding ISK with 18 toons?

I remember when I made the call to come to CCP and had to give up my characters.

It was surprsingly hard to give up on a corporation that I'd ran for over 7 years, and cut loose wingmen that I'd flown with for a decade.

Real hard decision, but we all still speak out of game, and most of them attend player gatherings and fanfest, so we get to talk, but it can be painful to cut loose of a group you've been gaming with for years.

Also, coming to CCP was so worth it in the long run.

Why on earth do they make you give up your toons? Unless you have to change your toons and get reimbursed SP?

because of the T20 thing, CCP employees are not suppose to be in positions of power in player corps or alliances. I did not know if they had to stop playing though. But this changed a few years ago,

I don't understand that one myself, just have the Toon blocked until you leave the company would be better policy.

I'll do you one better.

Let Devs actually play their own freaking game with their normal play characters alongside the players, and if any employees use Dev powers to benefit their corp or alliance, fire them.

It makes no sense to me to isolate ALL the developers from the community behind shrouds of secrecy because a few bad apples can't resist the temptation to cheat.

No land animal liberates more oestrogen via sweat / breath / urine than a stallion. Amount of androgens is meaningless, an abundance of testosterone can turn anyone into a bald, cranky, coarse-skinned version of a human with a higher chance of developing certain cancers. Manly virtues such as self-knowledge, the will to mastery and candour are culturally pressured.

OP should have an indy toon for some days and a pew toon for others. Two accounts would quicken training. Stay with the fite buddies, harvest Monday to Wednesday with the farmers.

I would think you could trust your DEVs (apart from a few bad apples, just googled T20). Falcon doesn't give me the "Lacks integrity" vibe.

I could understand wanting to be anonymous though. Can you imagine the spam if the general public knew who dev characters were?

The devs still play eve, but they have to be anonymous and are not allowed to be in a position that allows them to have a serious impact on the game.

I read somewhere that they have to start new toons but can get their sp back after some time. They get their old characters back after leaving CCP. (best example is Seleene)

Tonight I said farewell to a group of people whom I not only genuinely care about, but have grown to love. Why after only flying with these people after only 5 months did i harbor depression, sadness, and cry while saying farewell in corp. Well I will tell you.
Although I am less than a year old in this game I have come to learn one thing about EVE. You come to depend on the guy above you and below you in corp chat. You talk to them in mumble (and sometimes facebook) almost on a daily basis. And Finally when all in a fleet, and the proverbial poop hits the fan, you come to rely on the purple bracket to your left and right, front and back. EVE is unlike any other game, And i learned tonight just how powerful the connections you make in game truly are. Saying goodbye was like the final day of high school. You know you would talk to them again, or see them in passing but never would you all just be hanging out on the lawn, or outside station, laughing in comms.

Thank you Rifterlings and Point Blank Alliance for 5 months that I will forever hold dear in my heart, You will all be missed terribly and I am deeply honored and humbled to have flown with you all

Either your RL has been INCREDIBLY easy, or you're just being seriously melodramatic, right now.

Haha CCP Falcon how long had you been playing EVE when you were hired at CCP? Although you get to work on this amazing game, do you ever miss just being in comms talking about fits, strategy, and what to do?

Rifterlings loosing a member... :(

Rifterlings always give us good fights in minny/amarr faction warfare zone, and now more than ever we need more people in that area as good fights are getting harder and harder to find (where did everyone go?). Lowsec (at least in that area) seems more dead than ever.

o7 to Rifterlings!
