Since touch-screen laptops and even desktop monitors are increasingly getting in an affordable range, I'm wondering if anyone has played EVE on a touch screen device... or is it really possible for that matter?

If you do, please share the experience here.

I will probably never get a touchscreen. I don't see what the fuss is all about. It takes much more energy to do simple tasks compared to just using a mouse and keyboard.

My laptop has a touch screen.

It is occasionally useful for things like scrolling through long documents.

Yes it does work in EVE, you can select targets fire weapons etc by poking at them.

No I do not actually use it when playing EVE.

That makes sense, but only because the radial menu makes no sense otherwise.

Seriously, I wish it could be disabled, because it's effed me up more than once.

Agreed, sometimes they just get right in the ******* way haha

Quoted from Doc Fury: "Concerned citizens: Doc seldom plays EVE on the weekends during spring and summer, so you will always be on your own for a couple days a week. Doc spends that time collecting kittens for the on-going sacrifices, engaging in reckless outdoor activities, and speaking in the 3rd person."

This makes surprising amounts of sense...
