ive just came back after 9 months break and i already regret it. i have no idea wtf to do.

all i can do is l3 mission running which profits are **** and is boring as ****, and plex LP whore in militia which is more profitable but also boring and frustrating at times when u get gatecamped.

so, my question is. what else is there to do for 22mil SP character ? inb4 mining

i know theres more to this game as i can see on YT or read, but i cant really get into it. ive been trying to play this game for a couple of years already, which always ended in playing EVE like 1-2 months then taking 6-12 months break.

join a corp that does stuff.

I'm guessing that not being able to see anyone else in your corp or alliance is going to be a big non-starter.

This x100.

The entirety of the game revolves around coordination and player interactions.

My suggestion is to find a lowsec pirate corp and start there, join a corp that's in shadow cartel maybe.

22 Million skill points and you can do TONS.

The last couple posts are right on. The problem is your corporation not Eve.

And with the player.

PLBKAF

You can do all kinda of things, from yes mining, to exploring, manufacturing, pvping, etc. Either your corp is not doing much together, or you just don't have the drive to try anything BUT missions.

A 22 mil SP character is past the SP barrier and can achieve most/any of these things. Get cracking.

don't play it... run it in the background, be afk often, 10 clicks per hour maximum

eve needs time... its like a flower don't water it too much, breed it, think about it...

doing nothing in eve is actually a successful playstyle, so you are not that far off, you'll get there :D

I guess I'm weird because I like managing PI. True, it doesn't take up much time but it gives me at least one reason to keep a sub up. Join an active corp and even mining can be moderately entertaining.

Just remember that the aim should be fun, not profit. EVE money is fake money so there's no reason to obsess over earning it.

There are multiple corporations and alliances that teach exactly that - how to enjoy the game. For example, try Eve University or Agony Unleashed's PvP courses.

edit: By the way, 22 mil skill points is pretty decent.

1. never grind for a plex, that just sucks the life out of a game.
2. run some level 4 missions with other corp members, that will give you a good idea of what is going on in them, Missions are not a long term ideal, but will give you isk to do other things without being space poor.

3.Get skilled into a cloak ship, lots of fun with that, just watching stuff happen can also be fun.

4.Get a feel for what "feels" fun, it usually is.

5.Get in a gang of your mates in noobships or ventures in cheap pods and blob on a gate camp for giggles. Expect to die, lots, but it is such fun posting a solo Venture kill on a Stabber or hook bill in local.Twisted Even better post it in every local you pass through. Repeatedly....

6.Jump in deep and prepare to die and be amazed when you don't.

7.Edit:- removed as too much of a good idea.

lots of things to do lots of fun to have.

There is one EvE. Many people. Many lifestyles. WE are EvE

OP: Assuming you have some reasonable manufacturing skills, some basic market skills and a spare cloaky frig... you can get into some serious ISK in short order just buying salvage and making/selling rigs.

Quick and dirty money maker, if you don't mind alot of travel -- but frigs now enter warp much faster than they used to.

He would be pretty bored with us, with his SP he wouldn't be able to fly ~80% of our fleet comps. We also do ALOT of capital stuff, which he would miss out on completely.

We also aren't recruiting much right now, and you pretty much need to be capital capable to even get looked at without a vouch.

That being said, low-sec is an awesome place to be, and I would heartily recommend a militia corp, or any of the smaller roaming corps/alliances that *dostuff*.

I would avoid the tryhard/bittervet/elitepvp/etc alliances (like mine!) until you have more pvp experience(especially), as well as more SP(simply because we, as in major pirate alliances, tend to run very SP intensive ships, like T3s, Recons, and Command ships, as well as caps).
