*Snip* Please refrain from using profanity. ISD Ezwal.
your title is misleading as you were in Aideron Robotics in the past before Crimson Serpent. Additionally, shortly after this post you got 2 more 1v1 fights within the next 2 hours before you left militia.

Use Dotlan map. There is a special map for FW and you can see, where ppl actually do fight.

Good Sir;

FW is best enjoyed novus plexing with a good book while you wait for the fights to come to you.
Flying around and around a search path looking for victims makes you the victim--you could be doing
your homework while earning LP.

If you pick the right ship everyone will expect you to have 3wcs and to run--so use that to your advantage.

You also won't run into gate camps if you stay put.

Just accept that eve is a very very boring game, and adapt.

Plexing is a lot like fishing. You cast your line, and if you have the right bait, you might catch something nice. In my own experience, there is plenty of 1v1 to be had, but 4 guys is definietly not a blob. Small gangs are also a big part of FW, and you might find some enjoyment in that.

One thing about PVP in eve, and this is just about anywhere in Eve, not just lowsec: People will often only engage if they feel like they have a solid chance of winning. Many of my own kills come from people engaging me in ships you would think are superior to the one I am flying, or even 2v1 against me, and then they might get a nasty surprise. A lot of the people who have already responded to you in this thread also are quite good at that tactic.

Big suggestion for you here: If you want plex fights, plex in a transit system that a lot of people are flying through, an enemy held home system, or next door to an enemy held home system, especially on a route typically used by people leaving that system.

Keep your eye on short scan. If you can't take the fight that's coming to you, warp off and post a funny animated gif in local. Maybe someone will agree to a 1v1, maybe not. Not every fight will be ideal, but if you look, you'll find there are many GFs to be had.

It's the story of EVE. Sit on a plex, have two guys dropping on you to kill you, then bring in your two friends and feast not just on the killmail, but also on the "damn blobbers" that'll happen in local ten seconds later.

But without going to echo all the good/reasonable advice that has been given already: Stop bitching, stay on target and you'll learn your way around and how to get fights where you actually stand a chance. It's a learning experience and if you're determined to do this completely on your own you're in for a rough patch ahead but will end up the better player than the majority of EVE players.

Eve is rock, paper, scissors. Almost all PVP pilots will engage when they think they have 50/50 chance of winning and will engage with lesser odds when the kill is worth the loss (ie kill a shiny ship with a T1 frig). That being said, if you see a bunch of paper out there, fly scissors that looks like a rock and you will get a fight.

you got the fight but it seems that it was not the fight you were looking for so you does not count it as pvp.
