Well, dag, too bad. I was looking forward to the world changing in three weeks.

Makes sense, though -- and the new release schedule lets you do stuff like this without it being a big deal. Looks like it is working as intended!

Wouldn't that be to release the parts that are ready rather than pushing back a big bang release?

Nah -- it'd be better to rip off the bandaid all at once, I'd think.

Almost all of these parts are interlocking and you can't really deploy one without the others.

Glad to see that there will be time to tweak the things that have been mentioned as needing a bit of work. From memory, I think those are:

1) POS - the new lowsec array and making the arrays have some sort of cost thingie
2) Copying - Figuring out the correct formula and other tweeks needed (e.g. capital component bpc amounts increasing)_
3) Correct application of these changes to t2 bpos

Any others?

Exactly, which is kind of the polar opposite of Agile iterative release process thinking. I'm basically being a facetious troll and you two should stop pooping in my cornflakes.

The parts that are ready are being released

"The Kronos release, coming out on June 3rd, will include all other features announced in development blogs and during the EVE Online keynote at Fanfest, such as the 3 new Mordu's Legion ships, the new advanced mining frigate, changes to low sec sites and faction warfare, new warp-in effects, rebalanced and redesigned ships, drone rebalance, faction themed stations and sound customization. While it's less than ideal for things to get pushed back, It's nice to see that CCP are taking our input Smile

And that it's only pushed back 6 weeks Smile

Rather have things perfected rather than half baked, its about typical but I had just finished writing my unofficial patch notes for Kronos blog post a few days ago looks like I need to go back and do a bit of heavy editing.

Pessimist in me is expecting a similar Devblog in 5-6 weeks, explaining why it needed to be pushed back another 6 weeks. Because of :things:.

Granted, this is better than releasing a half-assed version that mucks up the industry, followed by a pile of hotfixes.

Better to release a working product late, than completely botch industry and production in New Eden due to a lack of testing and massive oversight.

Any word whether the isotope usage increase will be pushed back to July 22nd as well, or are we going to see 6 weeks of massive fuel demand, with all the large towers still up, but capships burning 50% more fuel?

Exactly, and the industry features will then follow approx. 6 weeks later.

I hoped we would get more things and faster. But apparently you took this frequent release mode so you can slack. I just realized that EVE development will be slower actually.

Disapointed
