would be nice to have a sound for module repairs (via nanit repair paste). I always imagine a little minmatar slave with a screwdriver fixing my MWD.

how to fix eve: 1) remove ECM 2) rename dampeners to ECM 3) add new anti-drone ewar for caldari 4) give offgrid boosters ongrid combat value

It's made by HaZaR and he hasn't made this HQ track available to the public, unless you want the SoundCloud version:

It's also been used in the Crucible Trailer:

EVE Online: Crucible forges community feedback into a release filled with player-requested features and fixes. New battlecruisers, a massive graphics update, time dilation and an improved UI are just some of the 100 additions and improvements that have arrived November 2011 in EVE Online's 15th free expansion.

A distinctive warning for being decloaked would be very nice

Distinctive sound when a module turns itself off (sometimes its hard to notice this, like when a scrambler is slightly outside its range and turns off)

Distinctive sound when a module gets overheated past X amount

I think it was the music used for one of the previous trailers. an Icelandic guy made it.
I don't remember which one. perhaps the Crucible trailer.

This track is really good, but a poor choice for this particular video, it was too short and just fading in and out at fanfest, they did so twice - it was really weird.

EDIT: you already got the answer ;) good one.

i dont know man, while id clearly didn't fit, the pacing of the video suited it imo,
btw, i liked those 3ds max control points for the map manipulation, now that might be the stockholm syndrome talking but id be happy with them.

also, want to mention the decloaking notification thing, that would likely save ships

I still stand by the statement that the contextual music in C&C Red Alert 3 was really good. You'd have your standard background tracks and then if fighting kicked off the music changed to a heavier/rock piece and people were blowing up everywhere.

Then, when the fighting died down the music did too. What was great is you didn't even consciously notice the change, it just always seemed to fit.

I love the idea that in EVE we would be waiting in a fleet by a POS for it to come out of reinforce, and the music subtly builds up tension as the timer is about to expire, then it builds up some more as enemy ships are spotted on grid and as a load of ships cyno in the music totally changes and kicks into rock music as the firing starts.

Then as the enemy ships flee, the music dies back down to just background noise.

I agree. it's just not easy to put in, if the system is not, from scratch, made to do so.
unfortunately.

but stuff like this, would be massive.

ok. SISI should be updated tomorrow.
I am melting in sweat right now, to get as much of this ready as possible for the transition to SISI.

also I have encountered a few problems with some effects being triggered by other than their intended use.
Like cloaking and decloaking when coming out of gates, holes, cynos, whatever - it plays the cloaking effect and that means that you may have turned everything down, except for modules, which then results in a huge sound to be played if you are too close to the ship.

quite annoying.

i would like to second this. that annoying beep every time the flag resets when you shoot a new target forced me to turn all the sound off.

ive not heard the new eve noises because the old eve noise i wanted rid of is still there.

Could we have left/right balance (or even better, 3D sound positioning) so multi boxers can have their leftmost client sounding like it's on their left?

And is there any chance of doppler effects coming back for on-grid noise sources as your ship warps in and out?

no. I have no way of knowing which client you place to the left.
There was never any Doppler effect in the game? so putting it back would be kind of weird.

Proximity warning system that is configurable by ship type, distance and rate of closure. For example, if I fly a 100mn legion, I could configure the warning to sound when any interceptor is on grid. Or, if a ship with web range bonus is approaching its effective range at a closure rate of higher than x m/s.
