Fullscreen brightness on laptop

I recently got myself the Acer Aspire V3-772G laptop. Previously I used my desktop PCs Nvidia Control Panel settings to adjust brightness/gamma/color/etc for EVE, but on this laptop (1) the Nvidia Control Panel has no settings for color, only adjustments for antialiasing/3D/etc, and (2) the laptop's Intel HD Graphics Control Panel settings have no effect on the game when it is running full screen, only when it is in windowed mode.

Any known workarounds for this? I know the in-game gamma setting feature is on its way with the next game update on June 3, but would still like to improve visual appearance until then.

The graphics card in question is GeForce GTX760M (the built-in secondary card is Intel HD Graphics 4600) and the OS is Windows 8.1.

Nobody else experienced this issue?

After doing some research I guess the brightness is not adjusted for full screen because EVE switches the actual graphics card from Intel HD to GTX760. I guess I will have to wait for gamma adjustment feature in Kronos release.

But what about this new issue?: Wen I switch interface off (Ctrl+F9) while in full screen mode, a very noticeable lag sets in. Even though it is not noticeable in FPS monitoring overlay (FPS is still at around 60), it is constant and noticeable while spinning ship in station, for example.

You don't happen to have a video capture software set to Control+F9 do you?
Fraps' default video capture key is actually F9.

Thanks for your reply. I use Bandicam but I encounter this issue even when Bandicam is not running or set to other hotkeys.

Update: Now the lag is not going away even after I switch back to interface mode. It just seems like EVE does not switch to the GTX760 card from the Intel HD card when I am alt-tabbing, hence this performance drop. And in connection with this, EVE is showing Intel HD Graphics card (instead of GTX760) in in-game graphics settings selection, all the time.

Note: This is all with fullscreen mode. In windowed mode there is no lag at all in any instance.
