Well remodelling plex to equal 1000 aurums (=subscription) would be a sensible move as there is no point in having both plex and aurums and thus allowing in game sale of aurum.
This would make an aurum worth of roughly 720 000 ISK with the current plex prices.

How ever CCP has donated 5500 aurms freely for eveyone so .... Roll

A quick Google search will reveal that this is an outright lie. The only place "removal of PLEX" is being discussed is in terrible threads on the EVE-O Forums, like this one. (Yes... I did a Goole search after writing thisjust so that I could be certain I was telling the truth...)

I would love it if CSM would STFU talking about things that they "can't talk about." If you have no useful information that you are allowed to release, refrain from **** teasing the playerbase.

This actually wouldn't change too much as far as people getting isk for real money. People would fallback to the days of buying 60 day GTCs and selling them officially on the forums. It took longer for the transaction, but it still worked. Unless CCP also removed GTC transactions, they aren't really changing much change of hands for isk. What they WOULD change is the amount of revenue that they get from GTCs being bought and turned in for arum or used for services, which would effectively cut off a large portion of their revenue. If people could not exchange a plex for a service, how would they get that service if they don't plan to pay for it? The genius of plex that CCP has come across recently is they have found a way to monetize well on things other than subscriptions.

TL;DR : Getting rid of plex would not really do anything to the isk-> real currency exchange unless they also got rid of trading GTCs. Removing plex would also reduce CCP's revenue through lack of exchanging plex for services.

I have it from reliable, inside sources that overheard a guy in a bar telling a girl about his uncle working at CCP that heard a guy in the bathroom talking about how they plan on giving TEST free titans to defeat the evil Goonswarm. Google it if you don't believe me.
