Account status to get new Gecko Drones

OK, I understand that the original 3 Geckos were awarded to players with accounts active on the 6th. I'm just wondering if there has been any info on if the extra geckos from the unlock program will be awarded based on accounts being active on the 6th, or another date, as I've had some accounts expire since then and would prefer not to resub them unless I need to to get the Geckos.

IMO the wording is not really clear. I read the quote about the 6th as referring to the original set.

I took it as you had to have an active account on the 6th to get the unlocked ones too.

Keep in mind the Gecko already has its Kronos stats, and won't be given the same buffs that the rest of the drones get in the summer.

So enjoy it while it lasts. ;)

Its dps will drop by 25% of what it is now.

but you're paying the equivalent of 1 plex (700m) for up to 11 geckos (current jita price of about 220m)

surely you can see how reactivating an account is just dumb if you're trying to procure geckos. buy a plex, sell it, buy more geckos than you'd be gifted on a renewed account.

I'm going to reactivate them in the near future anyway, it's just a question of exactly when.

Interestingly enough, I was told that people taking the free seven days from the renewal program also got them.

Does ice mining contribute or should we only be mining ore?

i reactivated an acc yesterday and i got the 3 original drones.

by looking at the remaining days on the claim you can tell they were granted yesterday.
