Punning for the halibut?

Well aren't you a ray of sunshine? What's the manta? Are you always like this, or are you just feeling eel today?

Well, aren't you a ray of good humour?

For the first time since I started the conversation, he looks me dead in the eye. In his gaze are steel jackhammers, quiet vengeance, a hundred thousand orbital bombs frozen in still life.

I am pleased to report that we have had some very positive results from our research depots and they believe we almost have a genetically engineered animal which can live a happy and fruitful existence, if a little short, in the pastures, producing a very substantial milk yield in the process before dying naturally in a way where the meat should stay at an adequate too good quality.

There are however more tests to be done but I am rather confident in the belief that we will have met our goals in the very close future and that when these goals have been met we can start introducing the livestock into there new environment.

After this is all completed I will invite interested parties to come visit my town and observe, as well as taking part in a celebration dinner to mark the event.

P.S. This all hinges of course on the depots staying undisturbed in there current orbit, but as no one has shot at them yet I think we are relatively safe.

I can now announce the successful completion of all testing and research we have made the perfect livestock for the environment we wish to introduce them into. Currently I have five hundred cattle in my research depot they will soon be deployed onto the surface of the planet.

Now I shall start preparing all the planet based facilities so we can start all processing from moment one, the cattle should be able to produce 40k litres of milk in there six month cycle of life before dying "naturally" and then being moved to our abattoir. Some 6% of the animals live up to eight months this product will be sold to pet food production companies.

As stated in my last post we will have an official ceremony to be announced at later date if anyone is interested in attending please mail me and I will contact you all soon.

I know some wonderful suppliers of the freshest fish from the icy waters near Mikramurka.

And no, I didnt make a fish pun. My name is pun enough!
