Is there a delay when using a new 60 day 2x plex retail code?

I have applied a 60 day x2 plex retail code to my account in account management and it says successful, I will receive 2 plex. There is nothing to redeem in my account management. Does anyone know if there is a delay before it appears?

There sholdn't be much of a delay, at least not in my experience.

When I buy PLEX it's usually through a third party, but the couple of times I've purchased direct from CCP recently, they've been redeemable at next login.

There is a delay, 1 hour I think, when you do it first time.

did you REDEEM the GTC (i.e. GTC --> 2x PLEX) or APPLY the GTC to your account?

It wasn't a GTC. Apparently those are the old system. The new system is a 2 plex retail code instead, it cannot be used in game and must be applied in account management. I did that, and it said I applied a 2 plex code successfully, no game time was added to my account.

Redeeming on account is sometimes delayed yes. Try log out and back in - as long as it shows in the transaction history it is registered.

I usually get a code which when imputed almost instantly converts to plex.

I dunno regarding plex conversion, but I'd imagine you have to log into game and redeem - might be lagging if you're in Jita.

I am logged in game and trying to redeem. I have even relogged, many times. There is nothing to redeem. Then an hour or so later it appears in redeem items.

This code is what GTC's used to be, they've changed them to this new system and it always delays giving you the plex.

if you still have problems perhaps open a support ticket, It's usually a smooth process, but it would not be the first time CCP has had a problem.

Today I bought two 60 day GTCs from a reseller.

The codes were sent to my email address immediately.

All that needs to be done is press escape ingame,
click 'CONVERT ETC' and entering the code.

Then PLEX spawn into the Items hangar.

Now I'm 2.84 billion ISK richer.

I bought a really nice female some clothes in Jita,
because she helps me finding WarTargets through her locator agents for free.

First time buyers, who buy from CCP, have to wait an hour.

If you buy GTCs from somewhere, you receive a code which you have to convert to PLEX.

Probably old stock, I checked a few ETC sellers and they said the ETC system has been replaced with the plex system as of may 1st.

It's just codes.

Tbh, I have no idea what kind of issue you have. It seems that the way it works
can't really be any easier.

You should have received codes to input and not items that magically
spawn into your redeem thingy just by buying them.
Unless you bought from CCP directly. That's different.

Yes I received codes that put the plex into my redeem items after an hour or so delay. I bought from an official CCP reseller, not from CCP directly. I asked the seller about this and he said that CCP no longer uses the ETC system and have switched to this new system. Some other sellers say the same, I think you just got old stock.
