People leaving the company is normal, but we've been having them leaving fairly rapidly one after another lately, and that's usually a bad sign.

That does not mean as much as I would like it to mean. The last big firm I worked for would hire 'project men' to come in after they let go a design team and have them try and find way for the company to still turn a profit on a cancelled project.

Probably a mix of better pay, less snow and ice and being allowed to actually play EVE again (in a meaningful manner).

From the talk CCP Seagull gave at fanfest it seems likes a lot of things are changing at CCP regarding the way they design and release content.

Some people don't like change and these guys are probably off to start something new at a new company.

I didn't like Dolan when all I knew about him was that he was a drunken clown but I liked his tournament commentary a lot. Bummer that he's leaving, he'll be difficult to replace.

Do we anticipate any of them to last beyond two and a half years?

Seems the average right now.

to the "Why is Riot poaching ccper's" question. That's rather simple, once an ex co worker gets in the door at one company, others in that company use the ex co workers as a way out. Or the ex co worker hears of stuff at there new job and send a heads up to the old work buddies.

I don't think this is the writing on the wall at this time, CCP seems to be doing alright. But I guess we will see at the end of the year. Good luck Dolan
