Thought this was pretty cool. It's some live cameras showing Earth from the International Space Station. Figured some people might enjoy this since we enjoy a space based game.

Here is the ISS tracker, so you know what you're looking at on the live feed.

Current cable provider does not provide NASA TV. Miss the hours & hours of ISS docking operations.

Want NASA TV added to your lineup?

Cool.

I actually get to see the ISS quite often here in Florida. And occasionally the hubble space telescope too. The other satellites are to dim to see most of the time.

http://spaceweather.com/flybys/ is a great site to see whats over your head and when to see it. The ISS is going to be very bright here next week for me. Big smile

Went on a trip a year and a half ago with some friends and ended up standing on a pier while drunk, just staring at the stars. Wasn't much lights or towns nearby. If you just stare at one random point in the sky, you can see 3-5 satellites at the same time. It's pretty cool :p

Yeah, it's pretty cool seeing satellites zooming overhead. Has to be quite dark with little or no moon to see them really well.

Go to their website and catch the live streams. My satellite dropped both NASA and Weather Channel. I finally dropped satellite. Compared to like 10-15 years ago, they have just become pointless and expensive. Sci-fi now "sy-fy", hardly sci-fi. No TechTV. No NASA TV. No Weather Channel. Replaced the good music stations/service with a fail music service. Utterly pointless...

I'm in it for the money

If you want to make something educational these daye, you have to make it so that people will not know they are learning before it is too late for them. It's hard.

Just stumbled upon this today. Very cool!
Here is a combination of video and location in one page. (http://eol.jsc.nasa.gov/HDEV/)

I hope some more people get the overview effect from that.
