I will be closing this bond down at the end of the current month in order to take advantage of a very low rate (2%) I have been offered to refinance it. This bond and its predecessor started a year ago and have run since then with a one month break between them, paying out in the region of 10bil in interest. When I launched the bond I offered a higher rate than I thought necessary because I like to offer what I can rather than the lowest rate I can get.

One of the things this bond has been used for is to finance the growth and development of a PvP corp I started with Rykker Bow. As things have progressed and the corp has grown, corp management has taken up an increasing amount of my limited game time and this has been intensified by Rykker taking a break. As such, I now find myself in a position in which I am greedily eyeing up the time spent servicing the interest payments and looking to economise on this front, as on a number of others, in order to free up time for other activities. I hope my current investors will understand why I couldn't resist jumping on the lower rate.

I'm still working out the best way to swap the new isk in and the old isk out but rest assured you will receive your full month's worth of interest for this month despite very likely getting your investment capital back early. Thanks to all those who have invested and I look forward to working together with you again in the future when circumstances allow.

All investors have been repaid their capital! Interest will follow on the normal day. Capital has been returned so that I can get the new capital in place smoothly. I was initially going to take in the new isk and then pay everyone out to make things easy for myself until I was reminded that I have spent years preaching best practice, according to which these things should be managed carefully to avoid giving a borrower additional exposure unnecessarily, thus increasing the risk profile of both past and new investors without their permission. So, decided to do it the hard way in the end (I was helped along towards doing 'the right thing' by the fact that I had nearly all the necessary isk to hand; if it had been a real hassle to liquidate everything I'm not convinced I would have been such a stickler for principle Oops).

Edit: Please post confirmation here that the principal has been received.
