Epic out of all the L337 Pvp'ers and mogul industrials out there miners beat them all on the gecko run.

I'm also going to put out the call for all FW kids to leave your stabs and cloaks at the station when you go out to orbit beacons, this week. More ships dying = more Geckos. You're not helping yourself or the community by running or hiding :p

Except a few people can have a dozen miner bots. A lot harder to do that with PVP or even PvE (at least to the same scale as you can with mining)

That awkward moment at the Gentlemen's Club when you see your sister on the stage....and you're not sure where to put the money....

Oddly enough, I'd be more worried about the Ratting figures. Since the 'target' values are so different from profession to profession, I figure CCP looked at their metrics and picked a couple f average targets. As far as past-times go, Mining, Ratting, and S&I are likely to have a steadier level of activity, and as one day out of seven has now passed, Mining and S&I are on-target, while Ratting is lagging behind even hitting its first target. PVP is definitely behind the curve too, but early week is always quiet compared to the end of the week (where you start trying to set up weekend timers), and more so the weekend, when all the big action happens.

Maybe ratting/missioning isn't completely screwed yet, as the weekend might retrieve it, but it wont be to the degree PVP can confidently expect.

The sentence ends with exclamation point, period. ( !. )

It was in the EVE Newsletter v.101 I got today. Though I guess not everyone signs up for that.

Edit: it is also a banner on the bottom left corner of the EVE launcher.


It was also a character selection screen banner-ad, but I guess most people have that part of the character selection screen mentally screened out since it usually only has ads for PLEX sales.

Based on my salvaging experience, you'll find there are somewhere in the order of three to ten times more mission runners active at any time over the weekend than during the week. During the week people will log in for an hour or four. On the weekend they log in from Friday night and keep going till Sunday night.

Don't worry, we'll make all the stretch goals. Just go out and pick one of the activities which you are best at.
