Note: this is a thread linked to an IC thread offering an indepth explanation/analysis, makes little sense without it!

Dunno the right place for this, so placing it here, along with a link to the thread:

Seeking advice from Amarr & Minmatar cultural experts

I usually let my stories grow & evolve by ways of chance. Normally they stay minor and are only relevant to me, sometimes earning a mention in my blog I run.
But recently, coincidence caused me to create a story that grew beyond my private/shared storytelling.

When PIE asked for Kameiras for their project, I thought over it, and decided to donate them some groups, to help m along, after all alot of people have helped me with collecting civilians.
Little did I know what would occur next.

Shortly after, a helpful capsuleer donated me Geeral Tash-Murkon whom I played out as a tash Murkon representative inspecting the Arcology after the support to PIE.
As I got hold of several Large groups of kameiras shortly after, the story continued as the isnpector approving the Arcology. But adding so many elite fighting forces would surely antagonize the Minmatar I reasoned. So I let tensions rise.

And bam, someone else donets me about 2000 freedom fighters & several minmatar emissionaries.... minmatar forces. so yea, looking like an arms race... escalation here I come!
With that in mind, I was looking for others their input into this, how would they resolve/ease the situation? What steps could be taken to lower the tensions again?

I publiced an IC blogpost about it as well: Dispute escalates into riot! Aurora Council fails to defuse the Amarr/Minmatar tensions!

I'm really curious about what stuff people come up with!

Put them in two seperate offices or stations even, create a buffer between them, something like that was mentioned if im not mistaken, that or have it so they fight and find a third party take one side to fully keep them seperated.

Just a thought...
